Low Voltage Installer

Job Title: Low Voltage Technician

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Employment Type: Full-Time

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Join a growing team specializing in the installation and support of low voltage systems for commercial clients. This hands-on role involves working with CCTV, access control, structured cabling, and other security and communication systems in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install and maintain low voltage systems: structured cabling, fiber optics, security systems, and A/V systems
• Pull, terminate, and test low voltage cabling (CAT5e, CAT6, coax, fiber)
• Mount and configure security devices such as cameras and access control panels
• Read and interpret blueprints and wiring diagrams
• Troubleshoot and repair system issues
• Operate lifts and heavy equipment safely (lift certification required or obtainable)
• Ensure compliance with NEC, BICSI, and OSHA safety standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of installations and repairs

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in low voltage or security system installation
• Proficient with hand tools and cable pulling techniques
• Comfortable working on ladders and in confined spaces
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, WI.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $35.00/hr.
