Job Title: Land Surveyor
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Land Surveyor with a strong background in field and land surveying. The ideal candidate will have management experience and be adept in using modern surveying technologies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the professional supervision and management of Survey & Survey Mapping projects to achieve company goals, including profitability, safety, quality, and operational excellence.
- Prepare estimates for survey needs and projects.
- Conduct boundary, land title, and topographic surveys for various projects, including engineering support.
- Prepare plans and construction layouts.
- Schedule field crews, ensuring project deadlines are met.
- Establish strategies to expand the department within the market area.
- Develop and maintain relationships with the public and clients.
Essential Skills
- High School Diploma.
- 8 years of experience with field and land surveying.
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Delaware or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Prior management experience.
- Experience with Total Station, GIS, AutoCAD, Robotic Total Station, and GPS.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in using Civil 3D.
- Familiarity with land development and ALTA surveys.
- Experience with Trimble GPS.
Work Environment
The role involves both fieldwork and office management. While primarily a management role, field presence is required as necessary. This position offers the opportunity to lead within a large firm.

This is a Permanent position based out of Newark, Delaware.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
Full benefits - PTO dependent on experience
