Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and thorough maps and drawings, ensuring quality and clarity.
- Meet project schedules and budgets while providing responsive service to clients.
- Coordinate map and drawing production to ensure all details are covered.
- Download/upload field data and communicate with the project team using various software platforms.
- Conduct property research both online and in courthouses as needed.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in Civil 3D, CAD drafting, and design.
- Experience in land surveying, including boundary and topographic surveys.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with an entrepreneurial spirit.
- 1-3 years of experience in AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018, survey computation, and related software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED required.
- AutoCAD Civil training/education certificate.
- Proficient in Microstation, Inroads, and Openroads.
- Valid driver's license with an acceptable motor vehicle report.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
Work Environment
Work primarily outdoors conducting surveys, with up to 50% travel required. The role is based out of the Charleston office, with exposure to various weather conditions. The position involves a 40-hour work week with potential for overtime.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Raleigh, North Carolina.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
