Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Lab Technician with experience in microbiology to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in laboratory procedures and be capable of performing a variety of microbiological tasks with precision and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pH testing of micro samples to ensure quality control.
- Prepare media for microbial testing.
- Perform pour plating and streak plating techniques for microbial culture.
- Conduct Gram staining to identify and classify microorganisms.
- Execute serial dilution and enumeration of microbial suspensions.
- Maintain good aseptic technique to prevent contamination.
Essential Skills
- Proficiency in microbiology laboratory techniques.
- Strong understanding of aseptic techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in a microbiology lab or equivalent setting is preferred.
Work Environment
Work in a laboratory setting with appropriate safety equipment. Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to all safety protocols.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Columbus, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
