Lab Technician

Urgent hiring for "Lab Technician" in Luling, LA !

*Must be located closer to Luling, LA*

Job Description: 

• Lead 2-5 team members per shift for testing and troubleshooting.
• Conduct routine tests on crude oil, base oils, lube oils, and petrochemicals.
• Run, set up, and interpret GC/ICPs.
• Accurately input data into the lab LIMS system.
• Follow safety protocols for proper lab SOPs.
• Maintain the inventory of the lab.

Qualification :

• Bachelors OR Associate of Science in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology OR Biological Science is Mandatory
• Experience in lab, quality control, chemistry, petroleum industry, titration, distillations, crude oil, petrochemicals and laboratory settings is Mandatory
• 2 years of experience with ICP and Octane engines is Mandatory

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LaPlace, LA.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
