Job Description

Perform routine grain testing procedures in an accurate and timely manner. Record and compile test results to prepare graphs, charts, and reports as required and requested by management. Communicate results to internal and external customers via Certificates of Analysis (COAs), verbal, or written documentation. Provide independent oversight of processes, verifying compliance to company standards and policies, and effectively communicating deviations from the standard to Lab Tech and management. Receive and document external testing results. Conduct routine quality control testing and maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities. Actively participate in quality, food safety, and safety programs. Verify sufficient inventory of testing supplies and maintain the cleanliness of the laboratory environment.

• Receive and document external testing results.
• Conduct routine quality control testing.
• Maintain accurate records of quality assurance activities.
• Participate in quality, food safety, and safety programs.
• Ensure sufficient inventory and cleanliness of the laboratory.
• Cover for coworker absences by staying late or arriving early.
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with lab instrumentation preferred but not required.
• Quick learning and ability to take direction.
• Experience in a GMP environment.
• Biology or Chemistry knowledge is a plus.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
