Position Summary
Performs laboratory analyses to determine chemical and physical characteristics of solid, liquid, and gaseous materials. Supports process control, product quality, and environmental compliance through accurate testing, documentation, and interpretation of results.
Key Responsibilities
Work independently with minimal supervision while following established laboratory procedures.
Set up, operate, and maintain a variety of analytical laboratory instruments (e.g., spectrometers, furnaces, balances, pH meters, and related equipment).
Troubleshoot routine instrument and equipment issues and perform basic corrective actions.
Prepare chemical solutions and test samples using standard laboratory techniques.
Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses on raw materials, in‑process samples, finished products, and environmental samples.
Record and report test results accurately using electronic data systems.
Provide guidance to production or operations teams to support chemical or process adjustments based on test results.
Assist with identifying and resolving routine process or quality deviations.
Support environmental monitoring and waste disposition efforts.
Comply with all safety, environmental, quality, and housekeeping standards.
Assist in training and mentoring new laboratory personnel.
Maintain professional conduct and perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High School Diploma Required
Bachelor's Degree in Scientific Discipline Preferred
1 years of chemistry based lab experience (can be from education)
Ability to lift 50 lbs as needed

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
