Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Lab Technician to join our Quality Assurance team. The Lab Technician will be responsible for conducting routine laboratory tests, ensuring product quality, and supporting production with timely and accurate analytical data.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collect, prepare, and analyze samples of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
- Perform microbiological, chemical, and physical tests using standard laboratory equipment and procedures.
- Record and interpret test results accurately and maintain detailed documentation.
- Calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory instruments and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with company quality standards, GMP, HACCP, and FDA regulations.
- Assist in investigations of non-conforming products and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Communicate test results and quality concerns to production and QA management.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe laboratory environment.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field preferred.
- 1 year of experience in a food manufacturing or laboratory setting is a plus.
- Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and quality systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic data entry.
Schedule
12 hour shifts, 3 days on, 4 days off, 4 days on, 3 days off, etc.
We are hiring for the 6am-6:30pm shift BUT this is a 24 hour facility and schedule is subject to change so we are looking for individuals flexible to all shifts.
Note: This is not an alternative working schedule so anything over 8 hours worked per day will be OT (time and a half)!
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.
