Lab Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to join our team in Lynwood, specializing in Women's Health, Family Practice, and Pediatrics. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in both the front and back office, especially for entry-level candidates eager to learn and grow in the healthcare field.

Responsibilities

• Perform insurance verification and ensure accurate documentation of patient information.
• Handle referrals efficiently and communicate effectively with medical staff.
• Operate lab instrumentation and ensure proper sterilization techniques are followed.
• Utilize Athena and Nextgen EMR systems for patient record management.

• Proficiency in lab instrumentation and sterilization techniques.
• Experience with Athena and Nextgen EMR systems.
• Bilingual in Spanish, with the ability to read, write, and speak fluently.
• Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Willingness to work at either Van Nuys or Plaza locations.
• Open to entry-level candidates who are driven and sharp.

The work environment is fast-paced and high-volume, with many Spanish-speaking patients. Flexibility to work at either the Van Nuys or Plaza locations is required. This role provides an opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience in the healthcare industry, supported by excellent training and development.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Los Angeles, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
