Job Description: Laboratory Assistant (Turbine Meter Calibration)

Position Summary

Responsible for calibrating and processing turbine meters on a fixed skid system. This role involves routine handling and movement of turbine units, performing data entry, and assisting with laboratory operations including analysis and quality checks.

Key Responsibilities

• Calibrate and process turbine meters on a fixed skid
• Safely move and handle turbine meters weighing up to 100 pounds
• Perform accurate data entry and basic calculations
• Assist laboratory personnel with:
  • Sample analysis
  • Data verification and quality checks
  • Approval processes
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) consistently
• Support general lab activities such as:
  • Sample accessioning
  • Labeling and sorting
  • Specimen collection and preparation

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Schriever, LA.

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.
