Job Captain

As a Job Captain, you will play a crucial role in supporting government projects, including Department of Defense, manufacturing, testing labs, and fire stations. Our team is expanding to accommodate recent successful bids on federal projects, offering you a chance to contribute to long-term growth. You will lead the production of construction documents, coordinate with consultants, and support project delivery from design development through construction administration.

• Lead the development of design and construction documents using Revit from schematic design to construction documents.
• Coordinate with internal teams, consultants, and clients to ensure project goals are met.
• Assist the Project Architect and Project Manager in maintaining project schedules and budgets.
• Conduct code research and ensure compliance with local building codes and accessibility standards.
• Participate in project meetings and manage communication between stakeholders.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs, and submittals during construction administration.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative studio culture.

• Proficiency in Revit with at least 2 years of experience.
• Experience working on different building components such as steel construction, tilt-up concrete, pre-manufactured buildings, and masonry.
• Experience working on projects from schematic design to construction documents.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Job Captain.
• B.S. in Architecture.

• Experience mentoring junior staff for at least 1 year.
• Open to a variety of project experiences including government, public works, commercial, and mixed-use projects.
• Experience working on at least 2 projects from schematic design to construction documents.

The position offers a hybrid work schedule with in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and work-from-home days on Monday and Friday. The work schedule consists of four 9-hour days and a half-day on Friday, with flexible hours from 7 AM to 5 PM or 8 AM to 6 PM, including a 1-hour lunch break.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Las Vegas, NV.

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $38.46/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Las Vegas,NV.
