Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to join our Grand Rapids installation team. The successful candidate will oversee multiple installation projects simultaneously for our commercial mechanical HVAC, electrical, and plumbing contracting company. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.
Responsibilities
- Oversee multiple installation projects simultaneously.
- Supervise and educate the mechanical installation crew.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Manage client relationships and ensure their needs are met.
- Read and interpret blueprints to guide project execution.
- Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure project timelines are met.
Essential Skills
- Well-rounded knowledge in the commercial/industrial Mechanical/HVAC industry.
- 10 years of experience in the industry.
- Basic knowledge of duct and pipe sizing.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in construction management, HVAC, mechanical, and commercial construction.
- Familiarity with project management, repair, and maintenance techniques.
- Capability in client interaction and communication.
- Knowledge of construction safety standards such as OSHA 30.
- Continued education and self-development.
Work Environment
Typical working hours are 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
Flexibility is required to be available before 8 AM and after 5 PM during the week if client needs arise.
A service vehicle is provided for personal use.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Rapids, MI.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
