🧾 Job Description

Join a high-volume Central Fill pharmacy supporting a national retail chain. As a Pharmacy Technician, you’ll work under the supervision of a Pharmacist to prepare, package, and distribute prescriptions in a fast-paced, automated production environment. This role requires acute attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

📌 Responsibilities

• 🧴 Manually fill prescription vials with tablets and capsules
• 🖥️ Read computer screens to locate and verify merchandise
• ➕ Perform basic math to calculate prescription quantities
• 📦 Replenish automated dispensing cells with bulk medications
• 📲 Use handheld scanners to enter expiration and lot info
• 🔍 Conduct quality checks to prevent cross-contamination and expired meds
• ❄️ Prepare cold chain and specialty prescriptions with care
• 📬 Assist with packing and shipping prescriptions
• 🔐 Follow HIPAA laws and pharmacy procedures for patient safety
• 📊 Complete weekly cycle counts and inventory audits
• 🕵️‍♂️ Help identify and resolve inventory discrepancies

🛠️ Essential Skills

• 📜 WA State Pharmacy License
• 💼 Pharmacy Technician Certification
• 🧠 Prescription refill and pharmacy support experience
• 🖥️ Data entry and EMR familiarity
• 🛍️ Retail pharmacy knowledge
• 📋 0–1 year experience in a production pharmacy setting

🌟 Additional Qualifications

• ✅ PTCB or ExCPT certification required for employment beyond 6 months
• 🧩 Strong problem-solving and escalation skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $26.00/hr.
