Gis Technician

We are seeking a talented GIS Technician to join our growing team in a remote capacity. This role requires expertise in GIS and Surfer design, and the ability to work collaboratively with project managers to create accurate designs within specific software.

• Design and create accurate GIS and Surfer models.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure project requirements are met.
• Bill a minimum of 15 hours per week.
• Utilize ArcGIS and Surfer for groundwater remediation projects.
• Generate isopleth maps and groundwater contours for shallow, intermediate, and deep levels.
• Perform groundwater modeling using Surfer with 2D and 3D representations.

• Proficiency in GIS and Surfer software.
• Experience in groundwater remediation and modeling.
• Ability to create isopleth maps and groundwater contours.
• Experience with AutoCAD, ArcGIS, and geological design.

• GIS Certifications preferred.

This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while supporting a dynamic and growing team.

This is a Contract position based out of Parsippany-Troy Hills, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $35.00/hr.
