What are the responsibilities and job description for the Furniture Upholsterer position at Actalent?
- Operate and maintain manufacturing equipment including:
- Sewing machines
- Glue application systems
- Ultrasonic welding equipment
- CNC machines
- Fabricate, assemble, and test the bedding components such as springs and frames
- Build furniture prototypes and finished products
- Order and receive materials; manage inventory
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams on prototyping and process improvements
- Ensure quality standards are met throughout manufacturing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- AS degree in engineering is preferred.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $30.00/hr.
