Job Description
The FPGA Engineer will play a pivotal role in supporting the development of space-qualified motor and motion control systems. This position requires hands-on experience with FPGA development using Verilog and an interest in motor control, motion control, and robotics.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement FPGA solutions for motor and motion control systems.
- Collaborate on projects that will contribute to upcoming lunar programs and other space missions.
- Work with state-of-the-art technology to advance spacecraft and space robotics systems.
- Debug and troubleshoot software to enhance performance and reliability.
- 5-10 years of FPGA development experience.
- Proficiency in Verilog or VHDL programming.
- Experience with motor controls.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Interest in robotics and motion control is highly desired.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
This position involves research and development for spacecraft and space robotics. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple projects that will soon be deployed in space, including upcoming lunar programs. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
