Job Title: Field Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Field Engineer with over 7 years of heavy civil construction field experience. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a field environment and are committed to working closely with Superintendents to complete daily construction activities. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management is required. This position does not involve project or office engineering tasks such as scheduling, RFIs, vendor interaction, or cost reporting.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Superintendents to complete daily construction activities.
• Work on heavy civil construction projects including highways, railways, and bridge construction.
• Ensure that all field operations are conducted in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Oversee and manage on-site construction activities and personnel.

Essential Skills

• 7 years of heavy civil construction field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
• Strong knowledge of construction management, civil engineering, and heavy civil construction techniques.
• Experience in highway, railway, and bridge construction.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Preference for candidates with US-based experience and education.
• Must not be currently working on other segments of high-speed rail.

Work Environment

This role involves working on high-speed rail segments and may require relocation or staying in furnished apartments in different cities across the US. The position is strictly field-based, focusing on hands-on construction activities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $160000.00/yr.
