We are seeking an Environmental Test Technician to join our team in Elmhurst, IL. Entry-level position with opportunity for advancement to Test Engineer I role within 6-to-12 months.
Candidates must be comfortable with regional travel and working outdoors. Company vehicle provided for travel. All travel time, expenses, lodging additional $72 per diem are paid by company.
Responsibilities
- Perform air emissions testing and monitoring services at industrial facilities.
- Transport equipment to sites using a company vehicle, set up and dismantle testing equipment.
- Record data and collect samples during testing.
- Calibrate testing equipment and assist engineers in air quality testing procedures.
- Follow environmental, health, and safety protocols.
- Organize and load testing equipment into vehicles for upcoming jobs.
- Maintain and clean testing equipment.
Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in field testing, maintenance, industrial, or hands-on roles is preferred.
- Able to travel (regional) as required during the standard work week, Monday-Friday
- Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 75 lbs.
- Employees typically earn $50,000-$60,000 with overtime their first year.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
