Environmental Test Engineer
- Execute environmental testing activities including thermal vacuum, vibration, and shock testing on hardware at the component, subsystem, and system levels.
- Plan and coordinate test schedules and logistics in collaboration with internal engineering teams and external test facilities.
- Interface with and oversee third-party environmental test vendors during off-site test campaigns.
- Support test article instrumentation.
- Review, analyze, and interpret test data, providing clear feedback and recommendations to design and manufacturing stakeholders.
- Own the operation, upkeep, and continuous readiness of in-house environmental test equipment while ensuring adherence to safety and compliance requirements.
- Lead failure investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action efforts related to test anomalies or nonconformances.
- Drive continuous improvement of environmental test processes, procedures, and documentation.
- Act as a technical authority for environmental testing methods, equipment, and best practices.
