  • Coordinate sample testing related to environmental, energy, and repairability regulations, including organizing test requests and tracking results.
  • Review and interpret test results to support compliance decisions and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Establish, document, and maintain best practices and standard operating procedures that support environmentally responsible product development.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Environmental Engineers, Program Managers, Toxicologists, Lab Technicians, and Subject Matter Experts to advance sustainable materials and design-for-environment initiatives.
  • Support efforts to phase out hazardous substances and promote smarter chemistry in hardware products.
  • Ensure product launches comply with applicable energy efficiency and repairability regulations.

  • Prepare and deliver presentations to executives and cross-functional partners to communicate status, risks, and recommendations.
  • Engage in both independent and collaborative work, contributing to cross-functional projects and initiatives.

  • Strong presentation skills with the confidence to communicate complex topics to executive audiences.
  • Comfort working with confidential or pre-release products and information.
Work Environment

The role operates in a fast-paced hardware engineering environment where products under development are highly confidential and may not reach the market for an extended period. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, program managers, toxicologists, lab technicians, and subject matter experts, collaborating on sustainable materials and environmental compliance initiatives.
