Your Role: As a Project Environmental Scientist/Geologist, you will be at the forefront of our environmental projects, playing a pivotal role in ensuring their success. Your key responsibilities will include:

·   Environmental Field Investigations: Conduct field investigations related to environmental assessments and remediation, including soil sampling, drilling, and classification.

·    Field Oversight and Reporting: Oversee fieldwork to ensure accuracy and compliance, compile data, and write comprehensive reports.

·    Project Management and Logistics: Efficiently manage project schedules, logistics, and resources, coordinating with team members for seamless execution.

·    Technical Analysis and Reporting: Analyze data collected during field investigations and prepare detailed Phase II reports with findings and recommendations.

Qualifications: To excel in this role, you should possess the following:

·      Experience: Minimum of 4 years performing Environmental site investigations.

·      Education: degree in Geology, Environmental Sciences, Earth Sciences, or Engineering.

·      Field Skills: Proficiency in field sampling and soil classification.

·       HAZWOPER Certification: Preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits: They offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $100,000 per year, with eligibility for overtime pay if desired. Comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, paid time off (PTO), holiday pay, and sick leave. Enjoy a healthy work-life balance with flexible work hours between 7 am to 6 pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Buena Park, CA.

The pay range for this position is $35.10 - $48.08/hr.
