Job Description

Join a dynamic team at a Finished Product Pharmaceutical Facility as a Sanitation Technician, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and sterility of cleanroom environments. Your work will directly contribute to the production of life-saving products for individuals with Diabetes and Chronic Weight Loss.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine sanitization of aseptic areas and conduct environmental monitoring.
• Maintain cleanliness and sterility of cleanroom environments and equipment.
• Participate in event response and deviation investigations as needed.
• Record and review data in batch production records (BPRs) using Good Documentation Practices (GDP).
• Provide input on Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and other controlled documents.
• Train peers in sanitization procedures and cross-functional systems.
• Follow all safety and environmental protocols in daily operations.
• Support process alignment across Aseptic Core Sanitization, Cartridge and Vial Filling Lines, Wash & Sterilization, and Formulation.

Essential Skills

• Experience in bioworks, manufacturing operations, or biotechnology.
• Exposure and understanding of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) knowledge.
• Interest in pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Health Care or previous manufacturing experience (GMP).

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping or sanitation experience preferred.
• Pharmaceutical, food, medical device, or cosmetic regulated experience is a plus.
• Bioworks or Associates in Biotechnology degree is advantageous.
• Familiarity with working in a manufacturing environment and standing for long hours.

Work Environment

The position is based in a manufacturing environment operating on a 2-2-3 schedule, with shifts from 6:30 am to 6:30 pm. Employees may start on day shifts Monday to Friday for training and then transition to night shifts. The environment can be demanding, but the team is supportive, with a strong emphasis on diversity, inclusion, and work-life balance. Scrubs and close-toed shoes/work boots are provided. Employees change in a locker room provided at the facility.

This is a Contract position based out of Clayton, NC.

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Clayton,NC.
