We are a forward-thinking engineering firm specializing in environmental solutions for aviation fueling systems. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality design, inspection, and consulting services to ensure the safety and efficiency of fueling operations.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Environmental Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing fueling systems, conducting construction inspections, and selecting equipment for aviation fueling projects. We aim to develop this individual into our in-house practice leader for these services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design aviation fueling systems and conduct construction inspections.
- Select appropriate equipment and prepare detailed project drawings and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers and other engineers to ensure successful project execution.
- Train and develop skills to become an aboveground tank inspector.
- Prepare SPCC Plans and design chemical tank systems, including permitting and construction.
- Conduct site assessments and provide technical support during system installation and operation.
- Maintain organized records of all project documentation and reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental, Mechanical, or Process Engineering.
- 1-3 years of engineering experience, preferably in environmental or mechanical fields.
- Basic familiarity with AutoCAD software.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and excellent writing skills.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
- Limited travel required for project site visits and inspections.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $50.00/hr.
