Overview & Description:
We are seeking an experienced Designer/Engineering Technician or Engineer for a long term contract as an Engineering Liaison. This position will be working onsite at PSNS in Bremerton and supporting LSD Class Ships. The position is a Subject Matter Expert in either Hull, Mechanical, or Electrical with Ship Selected Record (SSR) experience (Selected Record Drawings, etc.) and understanding of Navy Modernization Process (shipcheck, Ship Installation Drawings, Ship availability installations and then to the final part of subject, updating the SSRs to reflect the outcome of all installations. The role will be technical in nature and to coordinate all efforts required with a Program Manager and those performing the actual work (red-lines, updating in AutoCAD, Tech Manuals, etc.).
Qualifications:
- Active Clearance.
- This can be a Senior Designer (task Leader type) with 15-20 years’ experience or an Engineer (task leader type) with 10 years of experience.
- The subject matter at core is the Navy Modernization Process.
Additional Information:
- This will be a 12-24 month contract.
- Pay range is very much wide open based on experience level and such.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
