Job Title: Procurement Specialist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Procurement Specialist with a focus on data and system management to join our dynamic team. This role involves managing the creation of purchase orders based on internal demand, working within the ERP system, and ensuring supplier delivery schedules and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will provide support to finance teams, analyze demand, and realign existing purchase orders to reflect changes in demand, with an outlook of approximately 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Execute and manage order placement with suppliers, ensuring data integrity.
• Maintain and manage order books to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Interpret MRP signals, validate demand, and convert requirements into purchase orders.
• Validate Supplier Scorecard Data and maintain accurate part and supplier data in the ERP system.
• Support finance teams with invoice queries and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist team members with supplier performance and demand alignment.

Essential Skills

• 3 years of experience in procurement or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
• 3 years of experience with ERP/MRP systems, including demand signal analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel (including pivot tables and simple formulas), Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience in building and maintaining supplier network relationships.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.
• Rotational experience within aerospace manufacturing.
• Leadership skills with a track record of working with cross-functional teams.
• MCIPS certification or equivalent qualifications.
• Experience in negotiation and contract management.

Work Environment

The role is based in an aerospace engine manufacturing environment with a collaborative office space dedicated to procurement. The work schedule is structured with 9-hour days from Monday to Thursday and half days on Friday, offering flexibility for high performers. The company is experiencing rapid growth with opportunities for career advancement, including potential roles as team leads within the procurement team.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
