Embedded Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and test embedded software for next-generation unmanned systems.
• Integrate software with hardware components and perform debugging activities.
• Develop real-time applications focusing on Intelligence, Surveillance, Reconnaissance, and Targeting.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Document software designs, processes, and results clearly and effectively.

Essential Skills

• Experience with robotics and/or drone systems.
• Proficiency in rapid prototyping using Ardupilot or PX4.
• Skill in embedded control systems and control algorithm tuning.
• Familiarity with ROS or MAVLink.
• Proficiency in C and Embedded C programming.
• Understanding of RTOS and embedded systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering software solutions in the defense aerospace sector.
• Ability to work in a collaborative and innovative team environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Moorpark, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $96.00/hr.
