Job Description
Engage in middleware software development, serving as the crucial link between various applications, tools, and databases. This role focuses on developing software within embedded systems, enabling seamless communication and data exchange while ensuring the systems operate cohesively. The primary task will involve setting up sensor drivers to access and share information effectively across the system.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain middleware software to facilitate communication between different applications and databases.
- Set up and configure sensor drivers to ensure data accessibility and availability for the entire system.
- Focus on software development within embedded systems, specifically avoiding control code writing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware and software components effectively.
Essential Skills
- 7-10 years of strong experience in C development.
- Proficiency in Linux operating systems.
- Experience with GitHub for version control.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in both software and hardware is advantageous.
- Familiarity with operating systems is beneficial.
- Knowledge of development environments such as Conin and Core docker is a plus.
- Experience with Docker containers.
- Understanding of Ethernet, CAN protocols, and SCS interfacing protocols is beneficial.
Work Environment
This position requires working onsite leveraging advanced technologies and tools in a dynamic and collaborative setting.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Peoria, IL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
