Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician with a blend of mechanical and electrical expertise. This role involves performing wiring and assembly functions to integrate various components into finished PCBs and harnesses. You will be responsible for building and incorporating motors, encoders, and switches into electrical products, as well as adding mechanical components such as belts, machined parts, fasteners, and greases.
Responsibilities Include
- Perform wiring and assembly functions for finished PCBs and harnesses.
- Integrate motors, encoders, and switches into electrical products.
- Incorporate mechanical components like belts, machined parts, fasteners, and greases.
- Terminate wiring harnesses and check continuity.
- Oversee product quality and create preventative action plans for consistency.
- Evaluate testing results and develop improvement plans.
- Read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
- Engage in hands-on building and assembling of products or prototypes.
- Focus on quality assurance and test engineering.
Skills & Qualifications
- Mechanical and electrical assembly and troubleshooting experience
- Experience with any of the following components is a plus: motors, encoders, switches, belts, machined parts, fasteners, wiring harness
- Experience using hand tools like calipers and wrenches
Nice to Have
- Testing experience
- Quality Assurance experience
- Previous military experience
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middleburg Heights, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
