Description
We are partnering with a leader in custom lighting systems design and manufacturing to find an experienced Electrical Engineer that will lead the design and development efforts and responsibilities as part of the Engineering team.
• Select topology to maximize efficiency, performance and minimize size and cost
• Validate concepts by design calculations and simulations
• Experience with high voltage and high-power converters/inverters
• Working knowledge of EMI (CM an DM), transformers, and semiconductor switches and different PWM schemes
• Strong experience with modeling using Pspice, PLECS, and Matlab/Simulink
• Strong experience with schematic capture and High voltage, High-sped PCB layout using Altium Designer
• Hands on experience working in a lab environment
• Great team player who thrives on open communications and brainstorming
• Highly focused on creating the best designs to achieve the highest quality product
• Works well on projects on their own as well as with a team, able to clearly communicate ideas.
• Hands-on interest in developing a real world product from concept to production stages.
Skills & Qualifications
Must:
-2 years within Electrical Design Engineering
-Power Supply Design experience
-Circuit Design
-PCB Design utilizing CAD software
-Circuit Simulation
Plus:
-High Voltage
-Altium Design
-Constant Current Drivers
-Experience with LT Spice or PSpice
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $48.00/hr.
