The Electrical Engineer will serve as the Manufacturing Systems Integration Engineer, playing a crucial role in the company's engineering team. This position involves providing system and process design expertise to deliver integrated systems supporting manufacturing and supply chain processes. The focus is on special projects, enhancing technology through engineering tools, systems, and equipment. The role requires collaboration with Development and Manufacturing teams to deliver custom equipment and optimize designs compatible with manufacturing systems and technology.
Responsibilities- Provide system and process design expertise to support manufacturing and supply chain processes.
- Focus on special projects to advance technology via engineering tools, systems, and equipment.
- Partner with Development and Manufacturing teams to deliver custom equipment and optimize designs.
- Function as an individual contributor, design engineer, automation engineer, integration engineer, operations engineer, trainer, and troubleshooter.
- Manage part change and lead change management processes.
- Work across various functions within the organization.
- Electrical Engineering Degree
- 10 years of experience
- HW/SW product integration experience
- Experience with vision systems projects
The role is part of a small engineering group consisting of five individuals running tests on adjustable bases alongside remote engineers in multiple countries. Travel is required quarterly for new project kickoffs, lasting 2-3 nights.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lexington, KY.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00/hr.
