  • Interpret and read electrical plans, single-line diagrams, and architectural drawings to produce accurate and coordinated electrical layouts.
  • Communicate proactively with engineers, project managers, HVAC teams, and field staff to clarify design requirements, resolve issues, and obtain necessary information such as equipment sizes or design parameters.
  • Multi-task across multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high drafting accuracy and attention to detail in a group-oriented, fast-paced environment.
  • Support complex problem solving by collaborating with team members to address design challenges and field conditions.
  • Utilize AutoCAD for M/E/P construction or systems manufacturing applications, including working with Xrefs and coordinated drawing sets.

  • Familiarity with electrical symbols, NEC requirements, panel schedules, and conduit and cable practices.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical plans, single-line diagrams, blueprints, and architectural drawings.
  • Strong drafting accuracy, layout skills, and attention to detail in producing construction-ready documents.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work closely with engineers, project managers, HVAC teams, and field staff.
  • Ability to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced, group-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated complex problem-solving ability in a construction or design context.
  • Working knowledge of construction practices and the ability to coordinate with multiple disciplines.
