Electrical Design Engineer

Actalent Engineering is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer for a 4-6 month project. This role will be responsible for:

• Produce electrical documentation for existing UPS and backup power system configurations
• Create and modify:
  • Single-line diagrams
  • Multi-line schematics
  • Panel schedules with electrical loads
• Generate documentation for multiple voltage and power-service variations used globally
• Work from existing templates, examples, and standards (not greenfield design)
• Operate within a checker/review workflow to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Ensure single-line and multi-line drawings align and “tell the same story"

Job Qualifications:

• 5 years of electrical design engineering experience
• Experience with schematic design and documentation
• B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering is preferred
• Ability to work in Fort Wayne 5 days a week for training for the first month (role would go hybrid thereafter)
• EPLAN is a plus

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.

This is a hybrid position in Fort Wayne,IN.
