Job Title: Drafting Technician

Job Description

We are looking for a Drafting Technician responsible for creating detailed production drawings for machined assembly parts. This role involves working closely with production staff, management, and customers to ensure designs are accurate and meet customer specifications. Work will also be required for any change requests either from an engineering or design standpoint.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed production drawings for machined assembly parts.
• Collaborate with production staff, management, and customers to ensure design accuracy and specification compliance.
• Handle engineering and design change requests.
• Develop assembly diagrams and drafting documents.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Experience with engineering change orders (ECR/DCR).
• Mechanical drafting expertise.
• Experience in drafting for assembly, production, or manufacturing environments.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Tooling and/or fixture design experience.

Work Environment

The work environment is primarily an office setting with occasional meetings on the production floor.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
