Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Engineering Services Supervisor to lead a team of drafters and technicians supporting product design and manufacturing. This role combines hands-on coordination and team leadership, ensuring the accuracy and timely delivery of technical drawings and documents while fostering the growth and success of team members.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team responsible for creating drawings and supporting testing and builds.
• Ensure all technical documents meet standards and deadlines.
• Coordinate technician work, including building prototypes and running tests.
• Collaborate with engineers to translate ideas into clear technical outputs.
• Establish and maintain drafting and documentation standards.
• Manage team priorities and workloads.
• Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills.
• Track and improve team performance.

Essential Skills

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in engineering, drafting, or a related field (preferred).
• 5 years of experience in drafting, design support, or technical services.
• 2 years of experience leading a team.
• Proficiency in CAD software and drafting standards.
• Familiarity with shop floor and testing environments.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• A passion for aviation.
• Experience in aerospace, mechanical engineering, or related fields.
• Project management and document control expertise.
• Leadership and team management capabilities.

Work Environment

The role is performed on-site, encompassing multiple buildings, including a shop and office setting. Employees will have their own office space. The work environment includes participation in airshows and access to shared airplanes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr.
