Job Title: Document Control Assistant
Job Description
This role involves assisting the document control team and Project Managers to deliver quality materials and input information on engineering projects. The position requires setting up multiple small projects and assisting on medium and larger sized projects as needed. Familiarity with MS programs, SDx, Procore, and Aconex is essential.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate to set up standards and procedures for the team.
- Communicate document system procedures with team members.
- Coordinate documents with multiple engineers for project needs.
- Compile electronic project data books.
- Issue transmittals to clients and vendors.
- Process vendor submittals.
- Package electronic documents for clients, vendors, and internal needs.
- Notify appropriate personnel of troubleshooting issues regarding vendors and clients.
- Monitor workflows for the project team.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
Essential Skills
- Document control proficiency.
- Data entry accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Access.
- Familiarity with Procore and other construction and engineering software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of applicable experience, or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of construction and engineering environments.
Work Environment
The role involves working in a dynamic engineering and construction environment. The use of technology such as MS programs, SDx, Procore, and Aconex is integral to daily tasks. The position requires adherence to all company policies and standards.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $26.00/hr.
