Job Title: Distribution Field Technician

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a fellow technician to capture images of utility poles.
• Utilize specialized software to ensure accurate and detailed images.
• Communicate effectively with the designer and client to ensure data accuracy.
• Travel across Georgia and adjacent states to various project sites.
• Engage in data collection and power distribution tasks as needed.

Essential Skills

• Familiarity with distribution field technician work.
• Proficiency in using software for capturing images.
• Strong communication skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively throughout Georgia.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in data collection.
• Knowledge of Joint Use, staking, and power poles.
• Flexibility to travel and stay overnight as required by projects.

Work Environment

This position involves travel, predominantly around the GA, AL, and potentially SC. Expect to travel weekly, with overnight stays averaging three nights, sometimes extending to four. The work 4-day week with 10-hour shifts. Technicians will be working in all conditions, including increment weather.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Douglasville, GA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $24.00/hr.
