Job Description
Implement and maintain DevSecOps practices across the program lifecycle. Manage development environments, integrate security controls, and ensure compliance with security frameworks. Guide engineering teams in adopting DevSecOps tools, and support software integration within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement and maintain DevSecOps across the program lifecycle.
- Set up and manage development environments such as Git-based repositories, virtual machines, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Integrate security controls and ensure alignment with cybersecurity standards and best practices.
- Ensure compliance with applicable security frameworks and program requirements.
- Guide engineering teams in adopting DevSecOps tools, workflows, and automation.
- Support software integration within a multi-disciplinary engineering environment.
- Collaborate closely with hardware design and development teams.
- Interface with customers, subsystem owners, and commercial partners.
- Proficiency in GitLab and GitHub.
- Strong experience with C and C programming languages.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux with 5 years of experience.
- 5 years of experience in DevSecOps.
- Experience in software testing and verification.
- Ability to integrate hardware and software systems.
- Experience in DevOps.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks and best practices.
Work within a dynamic team of over 20 engineers. Engage in collaborative efforts with hardware design and development teams, ensuring seamless integration and alignment with cybersecurity standards. The environment involves using state-of-the-art technologies and maintaining a focus on security and compliance.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $85.00/hr.
