Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Development Engineer to contribute to the creation and enhancement of development methodologies that address new functionalities or improve productivity and quality in tests. This role involves supporting and training development teams on new methodologies, facilitating communication and feedback between development and design teams, and identifying needs for further development. You will be responsible for specifying the needs in analysis tools associated with new methodologies, focusing on performance aspects such as diesel emission control, particle filter/SCR, diesel combustion noise, knock, gasoline engine bench, engine approval/PWT approval, gasoline emission control, EOBD, and engine control hardware/software.
Responsibilities
- Develop new methodologies to enhance functionality, productivity, and quality in tests.
- Support and train development teams during the roll-out of new methodologies.
- Facilitate feedback between various development teams and design teams.
- Identify needs for further development and specify requirements for analysis tools associated with new methodologies.
- Focus on performance aspects such as diesel emission control, particle filter/SCR, diesel combustion noise, knock, gasoline engine bench, engine approval/PWT approval, gasoline emission control, EOBD, and engine control hardware/software.
Essential Skills
- Expertise in new product development.
- Bachelor of Science Engineering Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong background in the relevant field of work.
- High level of proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the field.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- IC in electrical, mechanical, or controls engineering.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.66 - $45.66/hr.
