Job Title: Designer

Job Description

The role involves performing detailed design work, including the preparation of drawings, specifications, and estimates for review and approval by the responsible engineer. You will provide limited direction to Designers and Technicians on assigned projects and may be required to act as a design leader on projects of minor complexity.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed designs and drawings.
• Create specifications and estimates for engineering projects.
• Provide guidance to Designers and Technicians.
• Act as a design leader on minor projects.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in engineering, electrical design, and schematic creation.
• Ability to read and create blueprints.
• Experience with test equipment and technical aptitude.
• Capability in design, drafting, CAD, and power distribution.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• An Associate's Degree in Engineering or a similar discipline is preferred.

Work Environment

The work environment sometimes includes outdoor field locations. Candidates should be comfortable working outside and in a field setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenville, South Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.50/hr.
