Responsibilities- Operate the CT scanner safely and proficiently.
- Obtain high-quality imaging and ensure proper positioning.
- Coordinate patient preparation and scanning to ensure smooth workflow.
- Demonstrate expertise in contrast media injections and reactions, and start IV lines for administering contrast fluids.
- Transport patients to and from the department.
- Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system.
- Technical or Associate’s degree in radiography.
- Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Maintain registry status while employed.
- Obtain BLS certification within 14 days of hire or transfer, prior to direct patient care.
- Experience in radiology, radiologic technology, and imaging.
- Knowledge of X-ray and CT procedures.
This full-time position is for the night shift in Tulsa, OK, working Sunday to Tuesday from 7:00pm to 7:00am, with alternating Wednesdays. Our facility is a 656-bed hospital that includes specialized centers such as The Alexander Burn Center, The Peggy V. Helmerich Women’s Health Center, Kaiser Rehabilitation Center, state-of-the-art cancer treatment technology, and the Oklahoma Heart Institute.
