Job Title: Controls Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Controls Engineer to support the design and build of small machines. These machines are typically used for test equipment, assemblies, and line improvements, with costs ranging between $150K - $300K.

Hard Skills

• 5 years of experience with AutoCAD 2D controls design, panel layouts, and machine circuits
• 5 years of HMI design experience
• 5 years of experience in machine building or other hands-on experience

Soft Skills

• Ability to interface with customers during design reviews, runoffs, and installations
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time, mainly within the Tri-City area, with occasional travel to Mexico

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Saginaw, Michigan.

Work Environment

Small company environment with a total of six employees. The team consists of three mechanical engineers, two electrical engineers (one retiring), and you. Everyone collaborates to get the work done.
