Job Description
This position requires technical expertise in system acceptance testing, SCADA development, and PLC programming. The role involves splitting time between the client site and the headquarters office. The clients served are in the Mission Critical Facilities sector, where safety and reliability are of utmost importance. The individual in this position must design and build systems while effectively communicating and troubleshooting issues with client operators and stakeholders. The ideal candidate has experience with onsite acceptance testing, SCADA programming, and PLC programming.
Responsibilities
- Design and build systems for Mission Critical Facilities.
- Communicate and troubleshoot issues with client operators and stakeholders.
- Conduct and lead Site Acceptance Testing.
- Perform field integration of Electrical & Mechanical equipment systems to automate processes.
- SCADA development and deployment experience.
- PLC programming experience, particularly with Schneider Electric PLCs or similar systems.
- Ability to read and interpret I&C Diagrams.
- Field testing experience.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with a cross-functional team.
- Certification or credentialed in a SCADA or software control platform.
- Certification or credentialed in a PLC or other relevant controller type.
- 2 years of experience, or a degree related to, the Mission Critical Industry.
Work involves onsite activities at client sites in the DC area, as well as time spent at the headquarters office. The team focuses on systems design, process adherence, and process controls in the Mission Critical space. The work environment is dynamic, with opportunities to work with a diverse range of clients to optimize their processes and provide increased visibility into their facilities.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Washington, DC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/hr.
