Construction Superintendent

We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent with a strong background in life sciences manufacturing projects to support a major fill line (fill/finish) construction project in New Jersey. This role will oversee daily field operations for a highly regulated, fast-paced project environment, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and compliance expectations are met. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience delivering GMP-regulated facilities, coordinating multiple trades, and working closely with owners, engineers, and validation teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all on-site construction activities for a large-scale life sciences fill line project
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors across architectural, MEP, process, and utility scopes
• Enforce GMP, safety, and quality standards throughout construction activities
• Drive short-interval planning, look-ahead schedules, and daily field coordination
• Partner closely with project management, engineering, QA/QC, and client stakeholders
• Oversee installation of clean utilities, process piping, equipment pads, and associated infrastructure
• Ensure work aligns with design documents, specs, and commissioning/validation requirements
• Proactively identify and resolve field issues impacting schedule, safety, or quality
• Maintain accurate site documentation, daily reports, and progress tracking

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 7 years of experience as a Construction Superintendent
• Proven experience on life sciences / pharmaceutical manufacturing projects
• Direct exposure to fill line or fill-finish manufacturing environments strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of GMP-regulated construction
• Experience coordinating MEP-heavy scopes (process piping, clean utilities, controls, etc.)
• Ability to work in an active, highly regulated occupied or semi-occupied environment
• Strong leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills
• OSHA certification preferred (OSHA 30 a plus)

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ridgewood, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $60.09 - $79.32/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Ridgewood,NJ.
