Lead a $200M Landmark Infrastructure Project in New York City

A nationally recognized general contractor—renowned for delivering complex, large-scale infrastructure and building projects across the United States—is seeking a proven leader to manage field operations for a transformative Port Authority project valued at over $200 million.
This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise to a major public works initiative and play a key role in shaping the region’s infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all on-site construction operations to ensure alignment with project specifications, schedule, and budget.
- Lead and coordinate subcontractors, trades, and site personnel to maintain productivity and performance.
- Interpret construction documents and provide direction on methods, materials, and equipment.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager to manage logistics, sequencing, and day-to-day planning.
- Enforce safety, quality, and compliance protocols across all field activities.
- Serve as a key liaison with owners, consultants, inspectors, and other stakeholders.
- Monitor site resources and material usage to ensure cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Drive project goals through proactive leadership, accountability, and clear communication.
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of Superintendent experience on heavy civil or building projects exceeding $200M.
- Deep experience in roadway, foundation, and structural construction (piling, concrete, structural steel).
- Strong understanding of U.S. construction practices, codes, and standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Bluebeam, HCSS HeavyBid, and Procure.
- OSHA and NYC SST 62-hour training certifications.
- Exceptional communication, coordination, and leadership abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience working on public agency projects (city, state, or federal) is highly desirable.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $220000.00/yr.
