Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Quality Control Manager to oversee quality management on-site at AFB Charleston. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sewer and storm drain repair and renovations, or similar experience in underground utilities. An active Quality Control certification from USACE or NAVFAC is essential, along with an OSHA30 certification and over five years of experience in the field.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee quality control activities on-site at AFB Charleston.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations in sewer/storm drain repair and renovations.
- Coordinate with construction management teams to maintain quality standards.
- Implement and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure project specifications are met.
Essential Skills
- Active Quality Control certification from USACE or NAVFAC.
- OSHA30 certification.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Federal Construction.
- Proficiency in quality control and construction management.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- CQCM certification.
- EM385 knowledge is a plus.
Work Environment
This position is based on-site at AFB Charleston. The work environment involves hands-on management of construction projects, requiring regular inspections and collaboration with project teams. The role demands adherence to safety and quality standards typical of federal construction projects.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $52.00 - $52.00/hr.
