Construction Project Manager

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to oversee mechanical equipment upgrades at the Bethesda Naval Hospital in Washington, DC. This role requires a dynamic individual to be the on-site representative, ensuring the seamless progression of project tasks and coordination with the project team.

• Act as the on-site representative overseeing mechanical equipment upgrades.
• Support and lead progress meetings to ensure project milestones are met.
• Coordinate scheduling, permitting, and budgeting activities.
• Manage contract documents, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration with all stakeholders.

• 5 years of experience as a Project Manager for a mechanical subcontractor or general contractor with mechanical involvement.
• Proficiency in project management, construction management, and project coordination.
• Experience in site construction and blueprint reading.
• Strong skills in managing RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Familiarity with scheduling and budgeting using Microsoft Project.
• Possession of OSHA 30 certification.
• Experience in MEP, healthcare, and hospital settings.

• A degree in Construction Management or related field is ideal but not required.
• Experience with large mechanical systems such as boilers, chillers, and switchgear upgrades is a significant advantage.
• Experience with federally funded projects and large commercial or industrial buildings.
• Strong report and paperwork management skills.

The role involves working both in the office and on project sites, collaborating closely with a project team. The projects are long-term engagements, providing ample opportunities for professional growth. The work setting is dynamic, with a focus on managing complex mechanical projects.

This is a Contract position based out of Washington D.C., DC.

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
