Job Title: Construction Materials Testing Technician (CMT Technician)

Job Description

We are seeking multiple Field Technicians to support ongoing data center construction projects throughout the Phoenix Metro area. This role is responsible for performing field testing of soil, concrete, and asphalt while maintaining accurate documentation and communicating closely with Project Managers and Supervisors.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with field testing methods, a strong attention to detail, and a professional approach to field operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform field testing of soil, concrete, and asphalt in accordance with standard testing methods
• Accurately complete and maintain test reports, logs, and project documentation
• Communicate daily field activities, test results, and issues to the Project Manager or Supervisor
• Ensure all documentation is neat, complete, and organized
• Maintain professional conduct on active construction sites
• Follow safety policies and company procedures at all times

Required Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in soil and concrete testing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven work ethic with a positive, dependable attitude
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• ACI, ATTI Field, and/or Nuclear Gauge certifications
• Experience in construction inspection, quality control (QC), or quality assurance (QA)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
• Familiarity with commercial or industrial construction environments (data center experience a plus)

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
