Job Title: Materials Testing Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Materials Testing Technician to support project managers on transportation construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of construction materials and processes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect contractor's operations to ensure conformance with engineering plans and specifications.
• Perform materials testing to verify compliance with standards.
• Measure items for payment and maintain accurate records.
• Maintain project and material documents for reference and compliance.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in AASHTO standards and DOT regulations.
• Experience with construction materials testing.
• Knowledge of ACI standards and concrete testing.
• Familiarity with asphalt and asphalt paving processes.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• An associate's degree in Civil Technology, Construction Management, or a related field is preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials testing and inspection.

Work Environment

Work hours are typically Monday to Friday with 90% of the work performed in the field.

This is a Permanent position based out of Appleton, WI.

The pay range for this position is $45000.00 - $55000.00/yr.
