Job Title: Civil Engineer - Lead Service Line Replacement
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a qualified Civil Engineer to join our team in replacing lead service lines with copper ones. This role requires strong communication skills and a passion for construction and site development.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of lead service lines and facilitate their replacement with copper lines.
- Engage and communicate effectively with homeowners to explain the inspection and replacement process.
- Perform site surveys and assessments to determine the scope and requirements of each project.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and safety protocols during all phases of the project.
- Utilize mobile applications and tablets to document inspections and communicate with the team.
Essential Skills
- OSHA 10 certification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with homeowners
- Construction experience or a strong interest in construction
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in surveying, excavation, and site development
- Environmental experience
Work Environment
The role involves canvassing and surveying residential areas. You will be required to go door-to-door to request permission for plumbing inspections outside homes. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
