Compounder

As a Compounder, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving and measuring ingredients using scales, mixing various ingredients, and identifying and melting solids using hot plates. You will also dilute necessary ingredients and record raw materials usage while maintaining quality standards.

• Identify and accurately measure ingredients using scales.
• Mix various ingredients and melt solids using hot plates.
• Dilute necessary ingredients and record raw materials usage.
• Maintain quality standards by verifying weight and contents of raw materials.
• Conduct in-process batch inspections and document all process events.
• Process liquid, powders, and perform homogenizing and spray dry methods of compounding.
• Accurately weigh dyes and other substances into the equipment following standard batch instructions.
• Check for consistency in various batches and measure the viscosity of mixtures.
• Take samples of batches and submit them to a laboratory for testing.
• Follow food safety guidelines and ensure accurate documentation of work completed.

• 6 months to 1 year of compounding experience in powder/raw material.
• Experience working in a GMP environment.
• Ability to willingly follow safety and sanitation protocols.
• Experience handling raw materials.

• Open-minded and adaptable.
• Team player.

The work environment is team-oriented and cross-functional, where you will be required to wear a uniform and proper PPE. As part of the #1 food, flavor, and fragrance company in the U.S., you will collaborate with others in a dynamic and supportive setting.

This is a Permanent position based out of Dayton, NJ.

The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $50000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Dayton,NJ.
